Good afternoon, I am finally getting around to writing my first blog. I feel compelled by the Spirit to do this today. In the last few weeks I have seen a fear developing around me; a fear of the unknown - the Corona Virus. Many of you may already be following the stories in the news or online, my wife and I have and still are. There is just so much information out there that it is confusing. I am not a doctor and therefore am not offering advise on what exactly to do, for that look to the professionals at the CDC or the Ohio Department of Health.
What I am offering, is scripture from the Bible to help in times of need. No matter what is happening around us, God is there. In sickness and health, the Lord is with us every moment. When I have doubts and fears, one of the verses I like to go to is John 16:33 "33 I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.” HCSB. Right now, we can all use a little more peace in our lives, spiritual peace from God. Christ died so that we could have peace, forgiveness and salvation. May each of you that reads this post find peace now and may you be blessed by the Lord in all you do. Take a moment and pray, give your doubt and fear to God. He is there and he wants to help!
